India put Syed Ali Shah Geelani under house arrest

Srinagar, MTT News Desk: In Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK), the Indian authorities have put the APHC Chairman and the President of Jammu & Kashmir Tahreek e Hurriyat (TeH) Syed Ali Shah Geelani under house arrest as he was going to address a pubic gathering at Batmaloo in Srinagar. A large number of Indian armed forces have been deployed at his Hyderpora resident in Srinagar, to stop Syed Ali Shah Geelani to attend the public gathering. The Indian armed forces have laid a siege around the residence of the APHC Chairman and subjected everybody entering the house to questioning. All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed serious concern over the plight of Kashmiri detainees, languishing in different jails inside and outside Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK).
